The Steward’s Lantern is the brainchild of Andrew Lockhart McLachlan – Senator, conservative thinker and passionate conservationist.

Andrew is a strong believer that the natural world is not a resource to be exploited. He thinks we all have a role to play in conservation, and a duty to be a good steward of the world for those that come after us.

He thinks that we all have a vital role to play in conservation of the wilderness and to be a good steward of our surrounds. He aspires to be an outstanding ancestor for those who will walk the world after him. He calls you to join him on this adventure in seeking out conservative visions for reconciling with our world.

Tired of the partisanship and rancour that surrounds so many environmental debates, he now seeks out real solutions to protect the Earth.

He is on a journey to find the right path to become the best ancestor for the next generation. His ambition is to light this path ahead for like-minded thinkers.
